In addition, she gave her Paris, France recital debut in May 2001. Ms. Scroggins was featured in the world premiere concert and recording of Mark Hayes' Two Flutes Playing with the Heartland Men's Chorus in Kansas City, MO. She also has sung in the world premieres of two works written by Los Angeles composer Steven Gutheinz, Songs of Travel (new settings of five poems by Robert Louis Stevenson for chamber orchestra and mezzo-soprano) and Hope (three settings of poems by Emily Dickinson for mezzo-soprano and piano).
